Warm Asian Salad

warm_asian_salad1 16 oz. bag of Fresh Express ColeSlaw
1 1/2 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
1 Tablespoon Fresh Minced Ginger
3 Small or 2 Large Cloves Garlic
2 Teaspoons Onion Powder

Place all ingredients except coleslaw in a glass measuring cup and mix well.

Microwave on 80% power for 25 seconds to thin oils.

Pour coleslaw into medium sauce pan, top withoil mixture and toss with a fork.0

Cook covered, over low heat until slaw begins to break down. Once some moisture develops in the mix you can increase the heat a bit but be sure to stir frequently to prevent burning.

Cooking time varies from 30- 45 minutes.
Makes six 1/2 cup servings
Variations: Add finely pieces of chicken, turkey pork or shrimp after cooking.

You can also use this recipe with egg roll wraps. Brush filled rolls with peanut oil and toast in a 400 degree oven until brown.
